40Pin 2.54mm Single Row Round Female Pin Header (1pcs)

The Single Row Round Female Pin Header is a 40-pin strip of round female sockets with a 2.54 mm (0.1 in) pitch. Solder it to a PCB or perfboard to make a plug-in socket for IC legs, component leads and round-pin headers, so parts can be removed and reused instead of being soldered in permanently. The strip can be cut to the length you need.

Tip: To shorten the strip, cut through the pin just after the last one you need with flush cutters and file the end smooth; cutting a female header usually costs one pin. Round sockets grip round pins and IC legs best, so for modules with standard square header pins a standard female header may be a better fit.
