4XAA + Mini SWITCH

The 4XAA + Mini SWITCH is a battery holder for four AA cells with a mini on/off switch. The cells are connected in series to give about 6 V with alkaline batteries, a handy portable supply for small robots, motor projects, toys and school experiments, and the switch lets you cut the power without removing the batteries.

Tip: Check the output polarity with a multimeter before connecting your circuit. 6 V is too high for the 5V pin of an Arduino and a little low for the Uno's VIN input (7–12 V recommended), so use a suitable regulator for the board or power motors and servos directly.
