9V Cell Box, without Cover

The 9V Cell Box, without cover, is an open battery holder for one 9 V battery (PP3 size). It holds the battery in place inside your project so you can power circuits, sensors and small modules from a standard 9 V cell. Because there is no cover, the battery can be changed quickly, which suits prototypes, test rigs and classroom kits.

Tip: Check the + and − markings before connecting, because reversed polarity can damage your circuit, and add a switch in the positive line if you need to turn the project on and off. A 9 V battery has limited capacity, so for motors or long run times use a larger battery pack such as 18650 cells.
