9V Cell Box, without Cover With DC

The 9V Cell Box is an open battery holder for a single 9 V battery, supplied without a cover and fitted with a DC connector. Clip in a standard 9 V (PP3) battery and connect it to your project to run Arduino boards, small amplifiers and test circuits away from the mains.

Tip: Check that the DC connector matches your board or cable before use; the Arduino Uno power jack is 5.5 × 2.1 mm, centre positive, and accepts 7–12 V, so a 9 V battery works well. A 9 V battery has limited capacity, so use it for low-current projects and take it out when the project is not in use.
