Description
The Adjustable slide potentiometer module is a slide potentiometer mounted on a small board with header pins, so it can be wired straight to a microcontroller. Moving the slider changes the position of the wiper along the resistive track, giving an output voltage anywhere between 0 V and the supply voltage. It makes a natural fader-style control for volume, brightness, motor speed and menu settings in Arduino and ESP32 projects.
Adjustable slide potentiometer module Specifications
- Type: slide (fader) potentiometer on a breakout board
- Output: analog voltage that follows the slider position
- Supply: powered from your board's 3.3 V or 5 V supply
- Connections: header pins for supply, ground and the wiper output
- Compatible with: Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi Pico and other boards with an analog input
Adjustable slide potentiometer module Applications
- Volume and tone controls for audio projects
- LED brightness and RGB colour mixing
- Motor and servo speed or position control
- Game controllers and MIDI-style fader panels
- Teaching analog inputs and the ADC in electronics classes
What's in the Box
- 1 × adjustable slide potentiometer module
Tip: Connect the module's power pins to 5 V (or 3.3 V) and GND, then read the output with analogRead(). On an ESP32 or other 3.3 V board, power the module from 3.3 V so the output never goes above the ADC limit.
