Female T Plug

The Female T Plug is an anti-skid T-style (Deans style) power connector used on RC batteries, ESCs and chargers. The ridged grip on the housing makes it easier to hold when plugging and unplugging, and the T-shaped contacts only fit a matching male plug one way round, which helps prevent polarity mistakes. Solder it to your battery or power leads to make reliable, removable DC connections.

Tip: Fit the female plug on the battery side, so the exposed contacts of the male plug are never live. Slide heat shrink over each wire before soldering, make quick joints with a hot iron so the plastic housing does not melt, and check the polarity with a multimeter before connecting.
