Male T Plug

The Male T Plug is an anti-skid T connector (Deans style) used to connect RC batteries, ESCs and chargers. Its two flat contacts sit at right angles in a T shape, so the plug only mates with its female partner one way round, and the textured anti-skid housing gives your fingers a better grip when you pull the connectors apart. You solder the wires on yourself, which makes it a useful spare for RC cars, planes, boats and drones.

Tip: Mark the positive contact before soldering, and slide heat-shrink over each joint so the contacts cannot touch. Standard practice is to fit the female plug on the battery side and the male plug on the ESC or charger side, so the battery's live contacts stay covered.
