Battery Holder 2 x AA + DC Jack

The Battery Holder 2 x AA + DC Jack holds two AA batteries and connects them to your circuit through a DC jack connector, so you can power a project without soldering battery wires. With two 1.5 V AA cells in series it gives about 3 V, which suits small motors, LEDs, 3 V sensors and other low-voltage electronics in portable projects.

Tip: About 3 V is not enough for the Arduino Uno's DC barrel jack, which needs 7–12 V; for that, use a 9 V supply instead. Check the polarity of the DC connector with a multimeter before plugging it into a device.
