Brushless Motor A2212 1400kV

The Brushless Motor A2212 1400kV is a popular outrunner brushless DC motor for multirotor drones, RC planes and other hobby projects that need high-speed propulsion. The 1400 kV rating means it spins at about 1400 rpm for every volt applied with no load, so on a 3S 11.1 V LiPo battery it reaches roughly 15,500 rpm. It is driven by a brushless ESC (electronic speed controller) through its three phase wires.

Tip: Use a brushless ESC rated above the motor's maximum current with your chosen propeller, and match the propeller size to the 1400 kV rating, because a propeller that is too large will overload the motor and ESC. To reverse the direction, swap any two of the three motor wires, and always remove the propeller when testing on the bench.
