The Servo SG90 is a 9 g micro servo motor that turns to a set angle over a range of about 180°. It contains a small DC motor, a gearbox and a control board, so you only send a PWM signal and the horn moves to the position you choose and holds it. Light and easy to drive from an Arduino or ESP32, it is the standard servo for robot arms, pan-tilt mounts and school projects.
Tip: When using more than one servo, power them from a separate 5 V supply and connect its ground to the Arduino ground. With the Arduino Servo library, myServo.write(90) moves the horn to the centre position.
