Servo MG996 13KG 180 Degree High Quality

The Servo MG996 is a high-torque, metal-gear servo motor that turns to a set angle across a 180° range and is sold with a 13 kg torque rating. It uses the standard 3-wire servo connector and 50 Hz PWM control, so it works with the Arduino Servo library, the ESP32 and servo driver boards. It is a common choice for robot arms, RC models and pan-tilt mounts that need more strength than a micro servo.

Tip: Do not power the MG996 from the Arduino 5 V pin: under load it can draw more than 2 A. Use a separate 5 V to 6 V supply and connect its ground to the Arduino ground so the control signal has a common reference.
