The DC Motor 40GB-Double Ear 12V 3rpm is an ultra-slow DC gear motor from the 40GB series. It runs from a 12 V supply and its high-ratio gearbox turns the output shaft at only 3 rpm, one full turn every 20 seconds, which makes it well suited to smooth, slow rotation with plenty of torque. Two mounting ears on the housing let you bolt it securely to a base or frame.

Tip: For constant slow rotation, a regulated 12 V supply and a switch are enough; for speed or direction control, use an H-bridge driver such as an L298N. Fit end-stop switches on any mechanism with limited travel, because at 3 rpm the gearbox output is very strong and can damage parts if it stalls.
