The DC12V N20 Micro Metal Gear Motor is a small 12 V DC motor with a 1:50 metal gearbox and an output speed of 600 rpm. The N20 size, the same format as the popular Pololu micro metal gearmotors, is compact and light, so it is widely used to drive the wheels of small robots, line followers and moving mechanisms where space is tight.

Tip: Never power the motor straight from an Arduino pin; use a motor driver such as the TB6612FNG, DRV8833 or L298N with a 12 V supply. It also runs at lower voltages, but it will turn more slowly.
