DIP 3 Color LED Module RGB

The DIP 3 Color LED Module RGB is a small breakout board carrying a through-hole (DIP) RGB LED that has red, green and blue chips in one package. By controlling each colour from a microcontroller pin, you can mix them to produce many colours, from pure red, green or blue to yellow, cyan, purple and white. Its header pins take jumper wires directly, so it is a quick way to add colour light effects to Arduino and ESP32 projects.

Tip: Connect R, G and B to PWM pins (such as 9, 10 and 11 on an Arduino Uno) and use analogWrite() to set each colour from 0 to 255. Check the pin labels on the board to see whether the common pin goes to GND or VCC, and add series resistors if the board does not already have them.
