5mm Two-Color LED Module

The 5mm Two-Color LED Module carries a 5 mm bicolour LED on a small breakout board with header pins. The LED has two chips in one housing, usually red and green, each controlled from its own pin, so you can show two different states from a single light or turn both on to mix a third colour. It is ideal for status indicators and beginner Arduino lessons.

Tip: Unless your board already has resistors fitted, add a 220 Ω to 330 Ω resistor in series with each colour pin when driving it from 5 V. Use PWM pins to blend the two colours smoothly.
