HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor 4pin 5V

The HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor is a 4-pin, 5 V distance sensor module that measures how far away an object is using 40 kHz ultrasonic pulses. It sends a burst of sound, listens for the echo and outputs a pulse whose length matches the travel time, giving non-contact measurements from about 2 cm to 4 m. It is the most popular distance sensor for Arduino robots and school projects.

Tip: Distance in cm is about the echo pulse time in µs divided by 58. The Echo pin outputs 5 V, so use a voltage divider (for example 1 kΩ and 2 kΩ) before connecting it to a 3.3 V board such as the ESP32 or Raspberry Pi.
