Fuse Socket 30mm Solderable

The Fuse Socket 30mm Solderable is a fuse holder with solder connections that takes a 30 mm cartridge fuse (6 × 30 mm). With the fuse in a socket instead of soldered in place, a blown fuse can be pulled out and replaced in seconds without desoldering, which makes repairs and testing much quicker. The longer 30 mm fuse size is common in power supplies, amplifiers and other mains-powered equipment.

Tip: Solder the socket first and fit the fuse afterwards, so soldering heat cannot reach the fuse. Always disconnect the power before changing a fuse and replace it with one of the same size, current and voltage rating; 5 × 20 mm fuses will not fit this socket.
