The L Shape Single-shaft Robot Smart Car DC motor is a small DC gear motor for DIY robot cars, rated for 3–6 V. Its L-shaped body has one output shaft on a single side, ready for a wheel, which leaves the other side of the gearbox free. It is a common drive motor for 2WD and 4WD smart car kits built with Arduino, ESP32 or micro:bit.

Tip: Drive the motor from a motor driver such as the L298N, L9110S or TB6612FNG, not directly from a microcontroller pin, and keep it within 3–6 V; a 4 × AA pack gives about 6 V. If you also want to fit an encoder disc for speed measurement, choose the double-shaft version.
