Large Slider Potentiometer 500K ohm

The Large Slider Potentiometer 500K ohm is a large-format slide potentiometer with a 500 kΩ resistive track. Moving the slider shifts the wiper along the track in a straight line, and the larger format makes it easy to set and read by hand. With 500 kΩ across the track it draws only about 10 µA at 5 V, which suits timer adjustment, gain setting and low-current control panels.

Tip: Microcontroller ADCs prefer a low source impedance (about 10 kΩ or less on the Arduino Uno), so readings from a 500 kΩ pot can be noisy. Add a 100 nF capacitor from the wiper to GND, or use it in high-impedance op-amp and timer circuits.
