Multiturn Potentiometer 10K ohm

The Multiturn Potentiometer 10K ohm is a precision potentiometer with a 10 kΩ track that needs several turns of the shaft to go from one end of its range to the other. Spreading the range over many turns makes each small movement change the resistance only a little, so you can set a voltage or reference very finely and repeat the setting. It is used in bench power supplies, calibration circuits and measurement projects.

Tip: Connect the outer pins to the supply and ground, and take the adjustable voltage from the middle (wiper) pin. To read the setting from an Arduino, wire the wiper to an analog input; turn slowly near the ends of travel and do not force the shaft past its stop.
