Multiturn Potentiometer 10M ohm

The Multiturn Potentiometer 10M ohm is a fine-adjustment variable resistor with a 10 MΩ track. Its adjuster must be turned several full revolutions to travel from one end of the track to the other, so each turn changes the resistance only a little and you can set and repeat a value much more finely than with a single-turn potentiometer. The very high 10 MΩ value suits high-impedance and very low-current circuits.

Tip: Use all three pins as a voltage divider, or the wiper (usually the middle pin, check the markings) and one end as a variable resistor. A 10 MΩ track has a very high output impedance, so buffer the wiper with an op-amp before feeding an ADC such as an Arduino analog input.
