Multiturn Potentiometer 2.2K ohm

The Multiturn Potentiometer 2.2K ohm is a fine-adjustment variable resistor with a 2.2 kΩ track. Several full revolutions of the adjuster are needed to travel from one end of the track to the other, so you can make small, accurate changes and return to the same setting later. The 2.2 kΩ value suits voltage-regulator adjustment, calibration and low-impedance reference dividers.

Tip: For an LM317, the output is 1.25 V × (1 + R2 / R1). With R1 = 240 Ω and this 2.2 kΩ pot as R2 (wiper plus one end), you can adjust from 1.25 V up to about 12.7 V, as long as the input voltage is high enough.
