Multiturn Potentiometer 2.5M ohm

The Multiturn Potentiometer 2.5M ohm is a fine-adjustment variable resistor with a 2.5 MΩ track. Several full revolutions of the adjuster are needed to move from one end of the track to the other, so you can dial in a resistance very finely and come back to the same setting. The 2.5 MΩ value suits high-impedance circuits, long RC timing and dividers that need to draw only a few microamps.

Tip: Use all three pins as a voltage divider, or the wiper (usually the middle pin, check the markings) and one end as a variable resistor. A megaohm track has a high output impedance, so buffer the wiper with an op-amp before feeding an ADC such as an Arduino analog input.
