Multiturn Potentiometer 220K ohm

The Multiturn Potentiometer 220K ohm is a fine-adjustment variable resistor with a 220 kΩ track. Several full revolutions of the adjuster cover the whole track, so each turn changes the resistance only slightly and you can set a precise value and repeat it. The 220 kΩ value is a practical choice for gain, threshold and timing adjustment where the circuit should draw little current.

Tip: The wiper is usually the middle pin; check the markings. Potentiometers above about 40 kΩ can exceed the 10 kΩ source impedance recommended for the Arduino Uno ADC, so add an op-amp buffer, or a 100 nF capacitor from the wiper to GND, for steady readings.
