Multiturn Potentiometer 5K ohm

The Multiturn Potentiometer 5K ohm is a fine-adjustment variable resistor with a 5 kΩ track. The adjuster takes several full revolutions to cover the whole track, so you can set a voltage or resistance very precisely and repeat it, which is ideal for power supplies and calibration. Tip: For an LM317, the output is 1.25 V × (1 + R2 / R1). With R1 = 240 Ω and this 5 kΩ pot as R2 (wiper plus one end), you can adjust from 1.25 V up to about 27 V, as long as the input voltage is high enough.
