Potentiometer Carbon 100K ohm

The Potentiometer Carbon 100K ohm is a variable resistor with a 100 kΩ carbon resistive track and three terminals. Turning the wiper changes the resistance between the middle pin and each outer pin, so it works as an adjustable voltage divider for settings, controls and analog inputs. The high 100 kΩ value draws very little current, which suits battery-powered circuits, audio stages and op-amp gain controls.

Tip: For Arduino analog readings, a 10 kΩ potentiometer gives the steadiest values. If you use this 100 kΩ part on an analog input and the readings jump, add a 100 nF capacitor between the wiper and GND.
