Potentiometer Carbon 10K ohm

The Potentiometer Carbon 10K ohm is a variable resistor with a 10 kΩ carbon resistive track and three terminals. Moving the wiper along the track changes the resistance between the middle pin and each outer pin, so it works as an adjustable voltage divider. 10 kΩ is the standard value for Arduino analog inputs, LCD contrast adjustment and user controls in all kinds of projects.

Tip: Connect the outer pins to 5 V and GND and the middle pin to A0; an Arduino Uno then reads values from 0 to 1023 as you adjust it. On an ESP32, use 3.3 V instead of 5 V. Carbon tracks are made for signal levels, so do not pass load current through the wiper.
