The 2N2222 is a general-purpose NPN bipolar junction transistor and one of the most popular small-signal transistors in electronics. This pack contains 5 pieces. With a collector current of up to 600 mA it can switch relays, LEDs, buzzers and small motors from an Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi pin, and it also works well as a small-signal amplifier.

Tip: Always use a base resistor (1 kΩ is a good start from a 5 V pin) and fit a flyback diode such as a 1N4007 across relay or motor coils. TO-92 versions differ in pin order (PN2222A is E-B-C, P2N2222A is C-B-E), so check the datasheet for the marking on your part.
