The BC547 is a general-purpose NPN bipolar junction transistor for small-signal switching and amplification, and this pack contains 5 pieces. Tip: With the flat face towards you and the legs down, the usual BC547 pin order is collector, base, emitter (C-B-E). Use a base resistor of about 1 kΩ to 10 kΩ from a 5 V pin, and keep the load below 100 mA.
