Adapter 12V 2A

The Adapter 12V 2A is an AC to DC power adapter that runs from the mains and supplies 12 V DC with up to 2 A of current, or 24 W. It is a common replacement power supply for routers, CCTV cameras and LED strips, and a convenient source of power for 12 V electronics, motors and Arduino projects on the workbench.

Tip: Before connecting, check that your device needs 12 V DC and draws no more than 2 A, and that the plug size and polarity match; most 12 V devices use a centre-positive plug. For LED strips and motors, keep the total load below about 80% of the 24 W rating so the adapter runs cool.
