Drone Chassis F450

The Drone Chassis F450 is a 450 mm quadcopter frame for building your own drone. The F450 layout uses a stack of centre plates with four arms that carry the motors, leaving room on the plates for a flight controller, receiver, battery and extras such as a GPS module or camera. It is one of the most popular frames for learning how to build, tune and fly multirotors.

Tip: A common F450 setup uses four 2212 brushless motors of about 920–1000 KV, 30 A ESCs, 10-inch propellers such as 1045 and a 3S LiPo battery. Check every screw and arm for tightness before the first flight, and remove the propellers while you set up the flight controller.
