Inductor 1.5mH

The Inductor 1.5mH is a fixed inductor with an inductance of 1.5 mH (1500 µH). An inductor stores energy in a magnetic field and resists fast changes in current, so a value this high is used for audio-frequency and low-frequency filters, noise chokes and LC tuned circuits. This through-hole part with axial leads fits breadboards, perfboards and PCBs.

Tip: With a 10 nF capacitor, a 1.5 mH inductor resonates at about 41 kHz (f = 1 / (2π√LC)). Keep the current through the inductor within its rating, because too much current makes it overheat and can saturate its core, which lowers the inductance.
