Inductor 22uH

The Inductor 22uH is a fixed through-hole inductor with an inductance of 22 µH (microhenry) and axial leads. Inductors store energy in a magnetic field and resist changes in current, so a 22 µH coil is used in switching regulators, LC filters on supply lines and circuits that need to block high-frequency noise while letting DC pass.

Tip: Inductors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. If the body is colour-coded, the bands read like a resistor code in microhenries: red, red, black means 22 µH. In power circuits, keep the current within the inductor's rating, as small axial inductors are made for low currents.
