Inductor 100uH

The Inductor 100uH is a fixed inductor with an inductance of 100 µH (microhenry). An inductor stores energy in a magnetic field and resists fast changes in current, so it is used to smooth power rails, block high-frequency noise and build filters and switching regulators. 100 µH is a common value in DC-DC converter, filter and choke circuits.

Tip: In a switching regulator, choose an inductor whose current rating is above the peak current of your circuit, or it will saturate and heat up. For filter design, 100 µH has a reactance of about 63 Ω at 100 kHz (XL = 2πfL).
