Inductor 33uH

The Inductor 33uH is a fixed inductor with an inductance of 33 µH (microhenry). It stores energy in its magnetic field and opposes fast changes in current, so it is used to smooth the output of switching regulators, filter supply rails and build LC filters and tuned circuits. It has no polarity and is a handy value to keep for power electronics projects and repairs.

Tip: When replacing an inductor in a converter, match both the inductance and the current rating. If the inductor gets hot or the output becomes noisy under load, the current may be too high for it, which can saturate the core and lower the inductance.
