Raspberry Pi Camera 5MP

The Raspberry Pi Camera 5MP is a compact camera board for the Raspberry Pi based on the 5-megapixel OV5647 image sensor. It plugs into the Pi's CSI camera connector with a flat ribbon cable and works with the standard camera tools in Raspberry Pi OS, so you can take photos, record HD video and build computer-vision projects.

Tip: Turn off the Pi before connecting the ribbon cable, and insert it with the metal contacts facing the contacts in the connector. On recent Raspberry Pi OS versions, test the camera with the rpicam-still command (libcamera-still on older versions).
