Resistor 0.25W 13K ohm (10 pcs)

The Resistor 0.25W 13K ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 13 kΩ and a power rating of 0.25 W (1/4 W), sold in a pack of 10. As an E24 value between 12 kΩ and 15 kΩ, it lets you fine-tune divider ratios, amplifier gains and timing more precisely than the E12 series allows.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. At 5 V a 13 kΩ resistor draws about 385 µA, and the 0.25 W limit is only reached at about 57 V across it (P = V² / R).
