Resistor 0.25W 15K ohm (10 pcs)

The Resistor 0.25W 15K ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 15 kΩ and a power rating of 0.25 W (1/4 W), sold in a pack of 10. Paired with a 30 kΩ resistor it keeps two-thirds of the input voltage, turning a 5 V signal into about 3.3 V for an ESP32 or Raspberry Pi input.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. At 5 V a 15 kΩ resistor draws about 333 µA, and the 0.25 W limit is only reached at about 61 V across it (P = V² / R).
