Resistor 0.25W 1M ohm (10 pcs)

The Resistor 0.25W 1M ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 1 MΩ and a power rating of 0.25 W, sold in a pack of 10. Its very high value lets only a tiny current flow, which makes it useful for high-impedance inputs, weak pull-downs, bleeder resistors and long RC time constants in Arduino and analog circuits.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. At 5 V a 1 MΩ resistor passes only 5 µA, so flux residue or moisture on the board can affect the circuit; keep the board clean and dry.
