Resistor 0.25W 2.2 ohm (10 pcs)

The Resistor 0.25W 2.2 ohm is a quarter-watt through-hole resistor with a resistance of 2.2 Ω, sold in a pack of 10. As a standard E12 value it is widely used for current sensing, MOSFET gate resistors and snubber networks, where the resistor must pass current with almost no voltage loss.

Tip: Do not confuse 2.2 Ω (red, red, gold) with 2.2 kΩ (red, red, red) or 220 Ω (red, red, brown). Across a 5 V supply a 2.2 Ω resistor would try to draw over 2 A and burn out at once, so always place it in series with a load.
