Resistor 0.25W 2.2M ohm (10 pcs)

The Resistor 0.25W 2.2M ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 2.2 MΩ and a power rating of 0.25 W, sold in a pack of 10. Such a high value lets only a tiny current flow, about 2.3 µA at 5 V, which makes it useful for high-impedance inputs, very weak pull-downs, capacitor bleeders and long RC time constants in analog and microcontroller circuits.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. When you measure a 2.2 MΩ resistor with a multimeter, do not hold both leads with your fingers: your body resistance is then in parallel and the reading will be too low.
