Resistor 0.25W 30K ohm (10 pcs)

The Resistor 0.25W 30K ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 30 kΩ and a power rating of 0.25 W (1/4 W), sold in a pack of 10. Paired with a 10 kΩ resistor it divides a voltage by exactly 4, and it is the same value used with 7.5 kΩ in the popular 0–25 V voltage sensor modules.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. Check the divided voltage with a multimeter before connecting it to an analog pin. At 5 V the resistor draws about 167 µA, and the 0.25 W limit is only reached at about 87 V.
