Tip: At 750 kΩ the 0.25 W limit is reached at about 430 V, so the maximum working voltage is the limit to check for high-voltage use. When checking it with a multimeter, do not hold both leads with your fingers, because your body resistance in parallel makes the reading lower than 750 kΩ.
