The Resistor 0.25W 75K ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 75 kΩ and a power rating of 0.25 W (1/4 W), sold in a pack of 10. As an E24 value between 68 kΩ and 82 kΩ, it is handy for setting precise divider ratios, such as 75 kΩ over 15 kΩ to divide a voltage by exactly 6.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. At 5 V a single 75 kΩ resistor draws about 67 µA, and two in parallel give 37.5 kΩ if you need a value in between.
