The Resistor 0.5W 1.1 ohm is a low-ohm through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 1.1 Ω and a power rating of 0.5 W, sold in a pack of 5. Tip: Resistors have no polarity. With 1.1 Ω, 0.5 A gives a 0.55 V drop and 0.275 W of heat; the 0.5 W limit is reached at about 674 mA, so choose a larger resistor for higher currents.
