Resistor 0.5W 13 ohm (5 pcs)

The Resistor 0.5W 13 ohm is a low-value through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 13 Ω and a power rating of 0.5 W, sold in a pack of 5. It is used where currents of up to around 200 mA must be set or measured, such as LED current sources, simple current sensing and series resistors in low-voltage power circuits.

Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. With 13 Ω the 0.5 W limit is reached at only about 2.5 V across the resistor; check the power with P = I² × R and choose a higher-wattage resistor if it is exceeded.
