The Resistor 0.5W 13K ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a resistance of 13 kΩ and a power rating of 0.5 W, sold in a pack of 5. Tip: Resistors have no polarity, so they can be fitted either way round. With 13 kΩ the 0.5 W limit is only reached at about 80 V across the resistor, so it is very safe for 3.3 V, 5 V and 12 V circuits.
