Resistor 0.5W 7.5M ohm (5 pcs)

The Resistor 0.5W 7.5M ohm is a through-hole fixed resistor with a very high resistance of 7.5 MΩ and a power rating of 0.5 W, sold in a pack of 5. At 5 V it passes less than 1 µA, so it is used where almost no current may flow: high-voltage dividers, capacitor bleeders, capacitive touch sensing and high-impedance bias networks.

Tip: With high values the limit is the resistor's maximum working voltage rather than its power, so spread high voltages across several resistors in series. When measuring, do not touch both probe tips: your body resistance lowers the reading.
