Description
The XXD Brushless ESC 40A is an electronic speed controller rated at 40 A for driving a three-phase brushless motor from a LiPo battery. This standard configuration comes with banana plugs on the motor wires and a T plug on the battery leads already soldered, so it is ready to connect. It is used in drones, RC planes, boats and robotics projects, and it can be controlled from an RC receiver, a flight controller or an Arduino.
XXD Brushless ESC 40A Specifications
- Brand: XXD
- Current rating: 40 A
- Motor type: three-phase brushless motor
- Motor connection: 3 wires with banana plugs, soldered
- Battery connection: T plug (Deans-style), soldered
- Control input: standard servo-style PWM signal (50 Hz, about 1–2 ms pulses)
XXD Brushless ESC 40A Applications
- Quadcopters and other multirotor drones
- RC fixed-wing planes and gliders
- RC boats and cars with brushless motors
- Robotics and Arduino projects with brushless motors
- Replacement ESC for existing RC models
What's in the Box
- 1 × XXD 40 A brushless ESC with banana plugs and T plug soldered
Tip: Check the battery cell count and BEC rating printed on the ESC label before connecting a battery, and choose a motor whose maximum current stays below 40 A. To control it from an Arduino, use the Servo library on the signal wire, join the grounds, and send minimum throttle at power-up so the ESC arms before you raise the speed. Remove the propeller while testing.
