16 Channel Analog Multiplexer 74HC4067

The 16 Channel Analog Multiplexer 74HC4067 connects one common signal pin to any of 16 channels, chosen with four digital select lines. It works in both directions with analog and digital signals, so a single Arduino or ESP32 analog input can read up to 16 sensors, potentiometers or buttons one after another, saving many I/O pins.

Tip: Power it from the same voltage as your microcontroller (3.3 V for ESP32, 5 V for Arduino Uno) and keep signals between GND and VCC. Tie EN to GND, set S0–S3 to the channel number in binary, then wait a moment before reading SIG.
